This is going to be one of the games where keyboard becomes your friend! There will be times when you can quickly look around the house with arrow keys and make quick decisions with the mouse. It never lies to you and tells you exactly where each door leads to. But in further levels you have to be extra careful and notice the description on message line when pointing on doors. There is an easier way to travel around the house by clicking on rooms you wish to go in. However, they get more and more confusing as you go further and that's the challenge of the game - learning something new in each level. You are given colorful hints on the doors to help you in travelling. Since the doors play a big role in the game, you have to learn their functions in order to move around the house. What I can say is that PTD focuses more on logical thinking and memorization than fast reflexes. I can't compare it with WCB and/or NiHH because I haven't played those. What is about the difficulty of the game, it is harder than original NfH. While I didn't manage to do it (hard understanding of how the game is built), I made blinking lights in some levels which is a plus for me. The night outside in some levels made me wanting to improve it by adding shadows that would make characters covered by it. If there's something I got inspired from Social Media Live's mods, it's the change of backgrounds in levels.

The style of the mod is obviously inspired by Valve's Portal as the mod is already called 'Portal through doors'. Changing sprites of NfH game is not an easy task. One of the things I am very proud of is the look of the game.
